This one had a lot going on. A large wraparound deck with multiple stair entries, railings throughout, a covered patio section, and exposed aggregate concrete that needed to be cleaned and sealed. Each piece had to work together when it was all said and done - and that's exactly what happened.

We painted the deck, stairs, and railings in a warm golden tone that ties everything together cleanly. It's not just about looks, though. Painting wood surfaces like this adds a real layer of protection against moisture, sun, and general wear. Without it, wood dries out, cracks, and starts to splinter. A good coat of paint is one of the simplest ways to extend the life of a deck significantly.

The concrete work is where a lot of people overlook value. The exposed aggregate here had a side-by-side difference that speaks for itself - the sealed side shows the aggregate's natural color depth and texture in a way the unsealed side just doesn't. Sealing locks that in. It also keeps water, oil, and debris from working their way into the surface over time.

What we like about jobs like this is that every surface gets the same level of attention. The railings, the stair risers, the underside of the deck boards near the covered section - it all got treated. That consistency is what separates a job that looks great for a year from one that holds up for several.

The little details really do add up. A freshly painted deck and sealed concrete aren't just cosmetic wins - they protect your investment and keep your exterior from aging faster than it has to. When everything on the outside of a home is maintained properly, it shows.
